What you will be doing:

The team of instructors that we bring on in India must be able to write “second-to- none” technical products (CCIE lab preparation / self-study) within the timelines we establish. Constant communication with our India Operation Head and CTO is of the utmost importance. We will be responsible for establishing a name for yourself – which will put you amongst the most elite in the world. You will constantly be monitoring the CCIE training industry, building relationships with students / clients and will begin to be the “Face of IPexpert”.  You will be responsible for all aspects of product development and support as outlined below.

Job Duties:

• Conduct classroom based trainings for CCNA, CCNP and CCIE in India.
• Developing and editing self-study Lab Workbooks and other technical products
• Providing answers to inquiries and sustaining discussions on IPexpert’s online support community
• Hosting live interactive classes (online) on advanced CCIE topics
• Complete various technical articles and white papers (to be used as blogs and in our techical library) while answering questions pertaining to these deliverables and maintaining dialogue with efficiency
• Participating in extracurricular organizations to foster brand awareness and marketing strategies
• Assist the IPexpert management, marketing and sales team in penetrating the market in India as it relates to self-study AND classroom-based training.

A High Level of Technical Competency is Needed in the Following Arenas:

• We’re very happy to announce that our CCIE Data Center workbook is near completion. All of the technology-focused labs are done, and the mock labs are being beta-tested.
• Next week we will be making the “official announcement”, but as a heads up, our 5-day boot camp (the only one worldwide taught by someone who has passed the CCIE DC lab!) will change. We will be updating / adding to the schedule, and making the announcement that each student will get their very own data center rack (no vendor will match the amount of hardware we offer you!). A large number of our classes will be taught utilizing our new Online-HD-ILT solution, because of the large geographical footprint that our CCIE DC clients cover. This will eliminate the need to travel, but give you the same experience you would receive in one of our physical classrooms.

• As all of you know, our VOD is 100% done (as is AOD), and our Volume 1 Workbook has been completed. As an update, the DSG for Volume 1 is near completion and should be wrapped up 100% next week. This is, by far, the most thorough and comprehensive Security portfolio we’ve ever created and we KNOW you will feel the same way!
• The Proctor Labs vRacks are now live and supporting the Volume 1 configs. You can pre-load base and final configurations for our new Volume 1 Workbook.

A couple of highlights from the announcement.

• Existing CCIE Voice certified engineers will have to take the lab again to be certified as ” CCIE Collaboration”.
• We do have a mention of multiple clusters as opposed to the single cluster in todays lab. So a distributed call processing model is to be expected.
• Video will be prominent on the lab and candidates will have to integrate with “Cisco Jabber Video for Cisco Telepresence” in the backbone.
• UCM version is 9.1 which opens the door for a lot of new features including URI Dialing and ILS.
• Surprisingly SAF/CCD features on the listed topics even though this is potentially on the way out in the long term.
• Security makes it’s way into the lab exam (happy days:-) And Frame Relay is still there!
• Federation and Presence is listed as a topic.

We will take a few days to reflect on the announcement and come back to you with more but for now that’s it.

As a quick preview of the evolution of the CCIE Collaboration certification, a current holder of the CCIE Voice designation will now be able to migrate to a CCIE Collaboration credential by taking the CCIE Collaboration written exam only. We appreciate all of the great feedback and patience of the community while we update our webpages to reflect this change. We will be communicating further details about this modification as soon as possible.”

Network world reports that the CCIE Voice certified engineer can now become “CCIE Collaboration” certified by passing the CCIE Collaboration Written exam.
